      Case study:  A successful laboratory outreach AR implementation



        Using a business model from a recently implemented RCM client, let’s examine key components that
        contributed to the driving force of their successful lab outreach AR implementation (Figure 1).


        Before the project began:


        à We conducted a thorough evaluation of the existing infrastructure and a complete review and
            assessment of the client’s current system.

        à The implementer noted system functionalities that would enhance the efficiency of the
            billing process.

        à Changes to setup were identified that would ensure optimal use of the system.

        à Planning and documenting a detailed strategy provided the client a clear understanding of the
            approach and guaranteed that their business needs would be met while leveraging  the functionality
            of the system.
